South Africa beat the New Zealand Blackcaps in Wellington by 159 runs to lead the five game series 2-1. With the Blackcaps getting bowled out cheaply for only 112 runs and having to chase South Africa’s 271/8, the Blackcaps seemed long gone after the loss of Tom Latham and Dean Brownlie very early and then with only four people getting over 10 runs and the highest score of 34 from Colin de Grandhomme.  The Blackcaps bowling performance was much better with all five bowlers getting a  wicket and de Grandhomme with two. South Africa had a very good batting performance with AB de Villiers getting 85 from 80 balls with 7 fours and a six, and Quietin de Kock getting 68 off 70 balls. South Africa’s bowling was just as good as their batting, with Dwaine Pretorius bowling 5.2 overs and conceding just five runs and a economy of 0.93 and three wickets.
